Trip to Old Spooks & Spies Starts Tomorrow

by Patricia on 06/10/17

Heading out tomorrow in the old Astro Van for the Gold Strike Casino Resort in Memphis Tennessee, then heading for Cincinnati for the Spooks staying at the Hilton at the Airport.  Conference lasts  to Sunday the 18th. Off to Nashville to pick up Madison, spending a couple of days and then east to Spinnaker Hotel, Hilton Head, SC for our 'free' vacation.  We are crazy.

ok, i am REALLY going to bed now.

It's 11:30PM  and T is snoring.  Tears of the Sun is on.  It's been a LONG time since I saw it. In fact I hardly remember anything about it. I have been one lucky person to have avoided that kind of carnage. Watched the Olympic skaters today.. now that's my kind of show. My valentine present was getting the tv hooked up in my office. It's only been a year in the making. Now I can be entertained while I work.

So it WORKED Again!

It appears the picture does have to be on a website somewhere, but the way to get the URL is to right click on the picture and copy the entire path.  That can be rather lengthy, but it works!  Not totally sure there are many pictures out there on websites that I want to copy.  The one I did copy was one of my brother/author John and my granddaughter Madison at his home in the arctic.  Actually it's just Minnesota, but that is pretty close to being the Arctic these days.  It was however, in the summer time.  While cold in the winter, Minnesota can be majestic in June.

How to get to the Homestead Blog

by Patricia on 02/14/14

With a minor variation.  The impression I was left with was that as soon as I logged into HOMESTEAD.COM there would be an BLOG MANAGER button to click.  OK, so it's been awhile.  But all I had to do was some research in help.  To get to the Blog Manager you click on Websites Manager, select the appropriate website, if you have more than one, and then click on Blog Manager. You actually can post to it without having to launch the website building program. Now if I can just find out about chat rooms I will be happy!
